A pallet rack beam is a crucial component of a pallet racking system. It is mainly used to support pallets and the goods placed on them.

Typical Structure:

Pallet rack beams are usually long, straight metal bars. They are designed to span between the uprights of a pallet rack.

Cross-sectional Shape:

Common cross-sectional shapes include I-beams, C-channels, box beams and step beam. I-beam-shaped beams have high strength and good load-bearing capacity, and the upper and lower flanges of the I-beam can effectively bear the pressure from the pallets. C-channel beams are relatively lightweight and have good flexibility in installation and use. Box beam structures have better torsion resistance and lateral stability.
